Receipts print only after an order is confirmed — either when staff acknowledges it in the dashboard or when auto-acknowledge runs. New pending orders do not print. POS orders created already confirmed print immediately.

Confirmation printing is handled by the Print Station desktop app through your system printer queue, not the browser. Keep Print Station running, connected, and with Auto-print when confirmed enabled in Settings.

This usually means the printer is offline, unplugged, powered off, or in an error state. macOS and Windows often cannot remove stuck jobs until the printer is available again.

1. Reconnect USB / power on the thermal printer and clear any error lights.
2. Open System Settings → Printers & Scanners and confirm the printer is online.
3. Quit Print Station while clearing the queue so no new jobs are sent.
4. Try canceling jobs again from the system print queue.

Use Terminal if the print queue UI will not cancel jobs:

# List printers
lpstat -p

# Cancel all jobs for your printer (use the exact name from lpstat)
cancel -a "Xprinter_USB_Printer_P"

# Or list jobs, then cancel one by ID
lpq -P "Xprinter_USB_Printer_P"
cancel <job-id>

If jobs still will not clear: System Settings → Printers & Scanners → right-click the printer → Reset printing system (removes the printer and all queued jobs; you will need to add the printer again).

Cancel jobs from the Windows print queue, or reset the Print Spooler if documents are stuck:

1. Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
2. Select your printer → Open queue → cancel all documents.
3. If jobs are stuck: stop the Print Spooler service, delete files in C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, then restart the Print Spooler service.
4. Restart Print Station after the queue is empty.

Each confirmed order sends one job to the system print queue. If you confirmed several orders, tested repeatedly, or the printer was offline, jobs can pile up. Clear the queue, bring the printer online, then confirm new orders.

Print Station is not notarized with Apple yet, so Gatekeeper blocks the first launch of the downloaded ZIP. This is normal for unsigned desktop apps — the app is not corrupted.

1. Confirm you downloaded the right build: Intel Mac (x64) for iMac 2015–2020 and Intel MacBook; Apple Silicon (M1+) for newer Macs.
2. Unzip the download and move UzEats Print Station.app to Applications.
3. Right-click the app → Open → click Open in the dialog (required the first time only).
4. If double-click still fails, run in Terminal: xattr -cr "/Applications/UzEats Print Station.app" then open again.

Apple menu → About This Mac shows whether your Mac is Intel or Apple Silicon. Using the wrong architecture will not run.

Print Station cannot reach your UzEats server. Verify credentials and connectivity:

1. Server URL, Restaurant ID, and API key match Dashboard → Settings → Advanced → Print Station.
2. Click Save Settings in Print Station after pasting values.
3. Regenerate the API key if it was revoked or copied incorrectly.
4. Confirm the restaurant computer has internet access to your UzEats server.
5. Click Reconnect on the Orders screen.

Each printer rule has its own auto-print status. When an order reaches that status, matching rules print to their assigned printers. Choose Manual only for rules that should print only from the order card Print button.

Ticket type controls what appears on the printout — kitchen tickets hide prices; full receipts include pricing and customer details. Paper size sets the layout width (58mm, 80mm thermal, or A4) and should match your printer.

Add a printer rule for each physical printer. Each rule has a label, printer, ticket type, paper size, and auto-print status (Confirmed, Preparing, Ready, etc.). Use presets for common setups. Manual Print on an order lets you pick which rule to use.
